Welcome to the News Channel 8's automated school and business closing system. Below is a listing of all currently available status codes. The phone number to call is 1 (203) 784-8900. You will be prompted for your organization ID and password. You will then hear your organization name and the current status. At this time, you will be asked whether you want to change this status. After responding accordingly, you will be asked for a new Status ID, which you can select from the attached status codes.
Just as a reminder to listen to all instruction completely before proceeding to the next step and to always use the # key when prompted. Please be aware that if you close your organization after 10:00 AM you will need to "reopen" it for the following day.
After 9:00 AM churches and all activities will be added to the television screen. In the event of extreme weather or other emergencies all closings may be listed on the television when entered.
